On 12/20/23 the dept was requested by the Wading River FD for a person trapped in a vehicle from automobile collision. Chief 33 arrived and request E-7 & R-4 to respond for a confirmed occupant trapped in a car with severe injuries. Upon arrival of E-7 the members assisted members from the WRFD in disentangling operations. R-4 arrived and was backed up by some members in FP-11. Members used the jaws of life to free the patient who was airlifted to the trauma center by SCPD aviation section.
Vehicle involved in auto collision. Members from both WRFD & RPFD used Jaws of Life to disentangle and extricate the patient.
