The Rocky Point Fire District is planning to acquire a 2.18-acre property on Route 25A in Shoreham. This strategic purchase is vital to housing critical, life-saving apparatus and protecting our community's investments.

Why This Purchase is Critical
• Outgrown Current Facilities: The District currently operates across 3 properties in Rocky Point and Shoreham. Unfortunately, none of these sites can be expanded upon to meet our growing needs.

• Rising Emergency Demands: Requirements for local medical and fire community services have grown significantly over the years. We urgently need safe, secure storage for our modern ambulances, fire engines, and rescue vehicles.

• Protecting Taxpayer Investments: Emergency vehicles and gear are highly specialized and expensive. Housing them safely out of the elements ensures they remain reliable and last longer.

• Low Visual Impact: The property sits between two existing commercial properties on a state road. The proposed storage facility will be unseen from Route 25A, preserving the local aesthetic.
