On Friday 4/26 the dept responded to a brush fire in the vicinity of Woodland Rd. chiefs 32 & 33 responded and upon arrival found a 100x 50 brush fire burning. Chief 32 assumed command and implemented dept standard operating guidelines for brush fire operations. Chief 33 assumed the operations and oversaw BT-9 & BT-6 in their extinguishing efforts with the members from E-3. FP-11 responded and secured the scene to prevent any incidents and A-16 & FR-80 were on standby for rehab operations. Units operated for approximately a hour and no injuries were reported.
