On August 12th the dept was summoned to a motor vehicle accident with injuries with a person trapped. Upon arrival of the chiefs a single car accident observed. The vehicle struck a fire hydrant, community mailbox and ended up wedged against a tree. Members from Engine 7 with assistant from Rescue 4 and Ladder 14 cut the tree outta the way of the vehicle and used a cutting tool to remove the door for Ambulance 8 to make patient access easier. The patient was extricated from the vehicle and transported to the hospital with non life threatening injuries.
