Great pictures and memories. Drove and rode in the ambulance back when we couldn't move anyone without proper authority. Training has come a long way. I remember the march from Sullivan's Tavern to Harry's. I have a picture of the crew that went to Grumman where we had training just in case a plane went down. I think the GI (brush truck) was given to Shoreham as part of their startup department.

This HITS me so HARD to hear this sad sad news about Mr. Curt. We were both train fans and just LOVED to BS with one another. Mr. Curt and I became friends when we worked together at Miller Ave School. I will always remember out talks about our vacations and trips we took. He was my inspiration for putting a goldfish pond and garden railroad in my backyard and I thank him for that (even after all the grief I got from my wife,Lol Lol he'll get that) Mr. Curt you will not be forgotten.
Your friend, Big John.

Stopping to say hi. Love your trucks, especially the killer be brush breaker. We need something like that around here. We have a lot of depts that run the duce an ahalf. But they use them for tankers an brush truck support. 5 tons for tankers. Stay safe, an god bless you.

Good morning
I have been trying to get a mega bucks raffle ticket actually two of them. I have sent a letter to the mega bucks raffle address about a week ago requesting an application but have not heard back yet. I have even called the FD and left my phone number. For so reason I can't down load the form of the raffle form on my computer. I have always bought tickets each year and I would like to continue buying them. I know the FD is very busy but I woul love to be in the raffle drawing. Thank you.
